Our Philosophy
Here at Vingulmark, where we produce organic eggs, we are open to new opportunities, have a genuine interest in the people who eat our eggs and in the well-being of our hens.
We consider ourselves to be ecologists, new settlers and enthusiasts of the Norwegian landscape. We feel the time has come to present our wonderful, pure eggs to the international market. Norway is widely known as the country with the best quality of life and one of the world’s most beautiful destinations. We should share this bounty with others.
Our search for new knowledge, the desire to develop our techniques and to listen to the ideas and experience of others have provided us with a unique position as producers of organic food. The increased demand we have witnessed and the wonderful feedback on our eggs have enhanced our motivation to invest in our future.
To date, we have concentrated our efforts on producing the very best eggs and ensuring a good life for our hens. We aim to continue our work in providing customers with healthy and pure food, looking after our animals and allowing them to be part of nature, follow their instincts and needs.

Our hens are a white breed with a wonderful temperament. It is immediately evident that our hens are proud animals, happy and beautiful to watch as they wander freely around our hen runs. They are not afraid to let us know if the weather turns bad and they want to get indoors. They are robust, fit and live a life as natural as it could be. These conditions provide us with healthy hens who lay plenty of eggs.
Our Vision
The earth we have inherited is the earth which produces our food. So it has been for generations. We want it to remain so for generations to come. We want to share the bounty provided by our earth, but must at the same time give back to the earth what it requires. We are motivated by our love for our country, our earth, farms, animals and the people around us. If we let Mother Nature do things in her own way, she works according to the rules of nature and gives us nature in return. Natural food comes from nature, and only from nature.
